Another Great Local Band Confirmed For Appleby Magna!

We’re happy to confirm that local band Green Fortune will be playing some sets for us at the Appleby Magna Food Gusto Festival. Jazz It Up With The Strife of Riley Playing At The Ashby Food Gusto Festival

The Strife of Riley Playing Live At Ashby Food Gusto Festival 2017 Sunday May 28th

The band will play two sets starting at 12 noon.

The band play mainly Jazz with a hint of swing/ big band. The band formed in 2015 and have played together since supporting events such as Melbourne Festival, Launch of the Alumni at Grace Dieu Manor school, A concert in Beccles Church in Suffolk and an Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Christmas Dinner at Breadsall Priory Hotel.

There are 6 members of the band, aged between 14 and 30 years of age and are all accomplished musicians in their own right.

Henry Belncowe/ Matt Kendrick- Keyboard
Come to the Ashby Food Gusto Festival and enjoy the hot food and refreshing drink all day. Entrance is £2 for adults with Children under 12 free. Dogs are allowed on site but should be kept on a lead. Dog owners are responsible for picking up any waste.

Why not bring the kids and meet Santa and his sleigh this weekend at the Ashby Food Gusto Christmas Fair. Santa will be visiting us all day Saturday and from 12 noon on the Sunday, with some assistance from members of the Ashby Rotary club.
